My name is Elise Silvey and I am SO excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher!
I love teaching with a passion and I am always ready to learn! I was born and raised in Kilgore, TX and recently relocated to San Antonio for this amazing opportunity to teach your child. :)
I am forever a Texan at heart, as it has always been my home, but ready to travel in a heartbeat. In my free time, I love to spend time with friends, sing, and be crafty! Since I was a child, I have always desired to change lives. Teaching and working with children are among some of my favorite things to do, it is such a blessing to be a part of this profession. I graduated with a Bachelors in Education with double minors in Spanish and Reading Instruction from LeTourneau University. I taught kindergarten for Pine Tree ISD in Longview, TX for four years. This is my first year at Randolph, and I am so blessed to be a part of this team and serve our country by educating the students of Randolph Elementary.
One of my goals as a teacher is to create a year that is engaging and exciting while preparing my students both academically and socially for first grade! I plan to do this by creating an environment of learning and community with one another. It is my desire that all students love to learn and understand the importance of kindness and respect for each other as they embark on their learning adventures and grow each year!
Never stop learning,
Ms. Silvey :)
