Welcome to Randolph Elementary School, home of the Thunderbirds! We are a cohesive school community defined by high expectations and exemplary results. At RES, we believe that every child is an amazing story yet to be told and we are honored to help them write their chapter for this year.
I am thrilled to serve as the RES principal and to continue the high standards of academic excellence and social integrity that are the foundation of the Randolph Field Independent School District. My beliefs about the importance of a quality education compel me to strive for excellence in myself and in those I serve. I believe that teaching and learning are not roles but behaviors exhibited by both adults and students in the building… that real learning only occurs when people feel safe to take risks… that holding each other accountable for a persistent drive toward our collective goals is necessary… that every child belongs to each and every one us and it is only together that we can ensure success.
Prior to my post at RES, I was fortunate to work as a middle school science teacher and coach, as well as an assistant principal and principal at the elementary and middle school levels. Throughout my 31 years in education, these experiences have shaped my understanding that collaboration, communication, and commitment to equity and excellence must be the driving forces of our work as a learning community. I look forward to working with you this year as we take flight at Randolph Elementary School!
