Hello and Welcome! My name is Mrs. Penn and I'm so grateful to be your Randolph Elementary School Counselor and Campus-Based Military Liaison. I am originally from Georgia but my husband's USAF military service took us to several states for a little over a decade. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and my Masters of Education in School Counseling through Lamar University. This will be my 15th year in education. I initially began teaching Science (my 1st passion) and I was fortunate enough to teach this wonderful subject to students ranging from 5th grade to 7th grade. After earning my M.Ed, I transitioned to school counseling where I have been fortunate enough to have experience in both elementary and secondary settings. The 2023-2024 school year will be my 10th year as a school counselor and am incredibly excited to assist with "Growing Greatness" at RES. 

I am really excited about sharing resources with you and working together to make Randolph Elementary School a model comprehensive counseling program.
