About Me

Hi! My name is Yvonne Najera and I am THRILLED to be your child’s first grade teacher! It’s going to be a fun year filled with lots of learning and new adventures. I can't wait to learn ALL about your child.

I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I have been married to my best friend for  years. My husband retired from the navy after 27 years of service and is a Family Nurse Practitioner. We decided to make San Antonio our home and moved here 7 years ago. I have three children: Danielle , Daniel, and Dylan. I am also a proud grandparent of my grandson, Diego. I can't forget to mention my fur baby, Daisy! 

I graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This is my 11th year of teaching.
