Welcome to Mrs. Butler's webpage.
I am beginning my 4th year teaching with the 5th grade team at Randolph Elementary School. However, this will be my 26th year as a teacher. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Major in Math and a Minor in Art. After teaching for several years, I returned to school and received a Masters Degree in Special Education at, what was then, Southwest Texas State University. Today, it is known as Texas State University. My husband, Rob, works in Austin, so we reside in the marvelous town of New Braunfels. I have two adult children. My oldest son, Cody, lives in Houston, TX, along with his beautiful fiance', Allie. Allie is a special education teacher in Katy ISD. My youngest son, Jared, currently lives in Houston, but will be moving to Corpus Christi soon with his career.
On my time off, I enjoy reading, listening to Texas Country Music, watching college sports, especially football, the great outdoors, and spending time with my husband, family, and 2 dogs.
My father served in the Air Force before I was born, and he instilled in me a great love for the military and a huge honor of country. I am proud to teach at Randolph Elementary School and consider it a privilege to work with your children. Please contact me with any comments, questions, concerns, or celebrations!
