Week of October 7

Dear Thunderbird Parents and Guardians,

It's hard to believe it is October when we've had such warm weather but cooler temperatures are set to arrive on Monday.

Thank you to our Amazing PTO for our amazing book fair. This book fair was one of the most beautifully decorated fairs I've ever seen. We appreciate how our PTO supports our students and helps us get great books into the hands of our students and teachers. Thank you Book Fair Team! You Rock!

Important tidbits for next week:

Fall picture day is Wednesday. We look forward to seeing our students all spruced up. These photos will make great gifts for Christmas to all you relatives.
Get your Pumpkin on Wednesday, October 9 and support the Randolph Field Education Foundation. Go visit the pumpkin patch behind the Universal City Hall building just off Pat Booker Road. You can purchase your pumpkin and/or volunteer from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. I had fun helping to unload the 2,000 pumpkins on Wednesday to get ready for the pumpkin patch, so go and enjoy with your family.
We still have a little green bike left over from bike rodeo. We have it up in the office. (O.K., that is old news but we want this little bike to be used by it's owner so we want it to go home.)
