  Got any Styrofoam lying around? If you do and you have some markers, this lesson will show you how you can turn a Styrofoam lid into a printing plate. All you need are water-based markers like crayola brand (not sharpies or permanent markers), a pencil or pen, and some Styrofoam and paper!

  This lesson is great for teaching about value, texture, and creative thinking. 4th & 5th graders are encouraged to reflect their personalities in this Funny Bunny project to make their piece unique. Choose your own colors and details, but make sure they are school appropriate such as only reflecting positive messages and nothing reflecting negative connotations or negative figures/popular icons.

• 10:41 2nd & 3rd Part Panda!

  This lesson will teach us how to draw a Panda, use warm and cool colors, how to make value shifts in objects to make them look 3-D, and use line to express movement and noise.
  
  
  This lesson is great for 2nd and 3rd graders but I believe with parental supervision, kinder and 1st would enjoy this as well. I know 4th and 5th graders would love this as well. Everyone can try this lesson out.

  This project is a great one for learning about WARM and COOL colors and how and why artists use them. This project focuses on color and pattern. Students are encouraged to make their own unique patterns.
