Folders: Your child has a blue folder which will be sent home daily. I will keep you informed about special homework projects or activities as well as general information throughout the year. Folders should be returned to class in their backpacks the following school day. A daily “backpack” check by parents is important to you and your child.
Change of Clothes: Please keep a change of clothes in your child’s backpack. Sometimes spills or toileting accidents occur, and this can avoid an embarrassing situation. These clothes will also need to be switched out seasonally and as your child grows.
Snacks: We will have snack time each day in the late afternoon. I will provide snack for the first week of school. Then you will be responsible for sending in a snack with your child daily. Here are some suggestions handed down to us from the state: Teddy Grahams, graham crackers, Goldfish/Dolphins, cheese with crackers, fruit and yogurt dip, veggies with dip, canned fruit packed in water, baked cheese crackers, Chex Mix, pretzels, and granola bars. We appreciate your cooperation with this matter.
