Meet Ms. Mitchell

My name is Audra Mitchell. I want all of my students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I want them to love learning and school.

I have taught for 32 years, and I have taught at Randolph Elementary for 27 years. I am currently a first grade teacher. I have also taught kindergarten, and I have been a reading specialist.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Maryland in College Park. I also earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am certified in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Reading, and English as a Second Language.

I have two daughters. We love animals and have several pets. I love to read, spend time outdoors, and take care of my plants.
